Open since February 1st, 2001, Debbie Zarnay began training teachers in the summer of 2001. Debbie Zarnay is a E-RYT 500.

Teachers graduating from our Institute are prepared with the knowledge and resources to provide safe and creative hatha yoga classes at the RYT 200 and 500 levels.

The Zarnay Yoga Teacher Training student requirements for the RYT 200:

• One weekend per month for ten months.
  Saturday: 8:00 - 6:00 PM
  Sunday: 8:00 - 6:00 PM
  18 hours per weekend x 10 weekends = 180 contact hours.
  
• Tuition = $2100.00
  ($500.00 deposit by May 31, 2008. Special payment plans are available)


• 20 signed-off classes to be completed within 10 months.


• Student Teaching:
  Each weekend offers the opportunity to share the teaching of a yoga class.


• One Workshop Presentation:
  Each student will develop a two hour workshop and present it, open to the public. Topic of choice, with all printed publicity, hand-outs and registration is completed by the student.


• Two Essays:
  Two, 500 word essays, will be presented to the ZYTT School. Topic is chosen from the category of Yoga and Philosophy, Ethics, or Lifestyle.


• Gray's Anatomy Coloring Book:
  Completion of study and coloring by June.

* Only with the completion of the training, will students receive credit for all studies and be given a Certificate approved by Yoga Alliance.
